Mill Hill Path

For a spatial design project at Ravensbourne, I developed an idea for an open air exhibition on the history of the “Mill Hill Railway” that used to exist between Mill Hill East and Edgeware in north London. Mill hill highway was shut down right after the war and never ended up on the modern tube map.

I wanted this project to shred some light on its history by having round columns of steel that follows the old line, where people can learn the history of this lost line. For each part of the story, there are different pictograms and poems.

The curved line on the logo is taken of actual path of the train line, a line that still is both visible from the sky and mostly walkable by foot.
